The General English plus Horse-riding course is designed to help you develop your overall level of English and practise a practical skill at the same time.
In the mornings you study on the core programme of the General English course in a multi-national class at your level for 20 lessons per week. For 3 afternoons per week you will have horse-riding lessons led by an experienced trainer. Lessons are tailored to your level and can include a light ride with a group depending on ability. It is also possible to do British Horse Society (BHS) qualifications - please contact us for more details and prices.
The horse-riding lessons will also help you practise your English further. Some key features of the horse-riding option are:
- lessons take place at a local stables just outside Eastbourne
- each horse-riding lesson lasts one hour
- all equipment is included
- transport to and from the horse-riding centre is included
- additional lessons are available at extra cost
- minimum stay normally 2 weeks

Our minimum age for individuals is 16 but we occasionally accept 15 year olds on the General English course in international classes provided they are part of a group with a group leader.
