Just walking through Chester is like taking a walk back through 2000 years of Britain's history. Amongst the many sights to experience are the Roman amphitheatre, medieval black and white buildings, most complete city walls in Britain some parts dating back 200 years, Georgian architecture such as the English in Chester's school buildings and the Victorian Eastgate clock, the UK's most photographed clock.
