Finnish group testimonial

Last week at Eastbourne School of English we hosted a group from Vantaa in Finland, they studied on a General English course for a week and the group was led by Elina who is the principal at the local adult education centre in Vantaa.

Elina explained that the main motive for their visit was so that students could immerse themselves in the British culture and have the opportunity to really leave their comfort zones and gain invaluable experience of communicating in English on a daily basis. Overall the main benefit of their trip seems to be the courage they have gained to go out communicate effectively with native speakers.

Another reason why many have chosen to attend is for all the excursions which have been possible during the week such as trips to Brighton, Beachy head, Lewes and also the theatre shows that they have been able to attend.

All in all, the group seemed to have thoroughly enjoyed their time studying and sightseeing in Eastbourne and the surrounding areas!
