The social programme at ELC is always carefully thought out in order provide something for everyone, and we are very fortunate that here in Brighton there are so many diverse and interesting activities to choose from. Brighton also benefits from the Sea Life Centre which has the UK’s first bottom glass boat and boasts over 150 marine creatures. And is the world oldest operating aquarium!!

As expected it was a very popular trip, with many of our students jumping at the chance to see some incredible Sea Life, all only a short distance from school. As well as offering some spectacular sights, visitors are also given the chance to learn about all the sea creatures, preserving our oceans and looking after endangered species.

The Sea Life Centre is also very interactive, with rock pools full of star fish and crabs which visitors are able to touch! The centre also runs feeding demonstrations all day long and puts on educational talks to teach people about the amazing sea life. We were lucky enough to hear a talk about sharks, we learnt about how many different species of shark there are, their feeding habits and sadly how endangered they are becoming.

Below are just some of the amazing photos we managed to get on our trip, enjoy!
