English for international negotiations
It's when you start negotiating that your English really needs to be second nature. Let's take a closer look at what ELC gets up to
At ELC Brighton we offer a core General English course along with English for Work lessons, designed to maximise your fluency in English used in everyday office situations and in routine communication between companies.
If you are looking to improve your employment prospects or move up in your current job, this combined course may be a good choice for you.
The General English plus English for Work course at our Brighton school gives you the opportunity to learn General English on our core course.
Our specialised afternoon sessions will build on these fundamentals skills by introducing English words, phrases and jargon that are used in office environments and everyday working situations, so you will be confident heading into any new area of employment where the language spoken is predominantly English.
* Minimum age: please see more information regarding levels of care and supervision for 16 and 17 year olds in international classes. We occasionally accept 15 year olds in international classes provided they are part of a group with a group leader.
For our core General English course, all students will study in a General English class for 20 lessons per week each morning, Monday to Friday. English for work lessons then takes place in the afternoon.
You can choose between:
20 lessons of General English and 5 lessons of English for work
20 lessons of General English and 10 lessons of English for work
If you are just beginning your English language journey, please contact us to check if we will have a suitable class. If you are a complete beginner we recommend that you take One-to-One lessons.
For stays of more than 24 weeks see our Study Year Programme.
